3rd Grade
“People exquisitely writing.” “Kids sharing learning strategies.” “Students with burning ideas.” These are a few ways in which the third graders characterize their classroom. Flexible groupings of teachers and students, echoes of big ideas across all parts of the day, and a collective interest in “how we know what we know," including examining how our thinking changes over time, are all evident in the third grade.
