What can the life of asingle person tell us about the creation of a nation? During the finalexpedition of the year, fifth graders will explore the lives of Paul Revere andBenjamin Franklin, and the circumstances that made these once proud Britishcolonists become some of the King’s most wanted rebels. More importantly, wewill discover that the ideals that inspired each man echo today, through oursystem of government and the documents that helped create it. From Boston’sNorth End to the streets of Philadelphia, students will discover the manytalents of Paul Revere and Ben Franklin and the amazing timeline of events intowhich his life is woven.
